Manager of Regulatory Compliance

About the position

Operating a SEGOB-licensed sportsbook in Mexico is not easy — and that is precisely why we need someone who can turn regulatory compliance into a competitive advantage, not an obstacle. We are looking for a Regulatory Compliance Manager who wants to build this function from scratch in an operation with a leadership vision in LATAM.

This position will be responsible for managing compliance with the SEGOB, coordinating license processes, implementing internal compliance policies, and acting as a liaison with regulatory authorities and external legal advisors.

We are looking for a person with deep knowledge of the regulatory framework for gaming in Mexico, leadership skills, and the ability to translate legal requirements into clear and efficient operational processes.

What you will do

• Managing regulatory compliance with the SEGOB and other competent authorities.
• Supervise leave obligations, periodic reports, and renewal processes.
• Implement and maintain internal compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
• Coordinate the reporting of suspicious operations to the UIF in collaboration with the AML team.
• Act as a liaison with external legal advisors, auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor changes in gaming legislation in Mexico and assess their impact on operations.
• Train internal teams on compliance requirements and good regulatory practices.
• Support internal and external audits related to compliance and licensing.

What we are looking for

• Experience in regulatory compliance, corporate law or license management, preferably in the gaming industry in Mexico.
• Knowledge of the regulatory framework of the SEGOB and the current legislation regarding gambling games.
• Ability to interpret legal regulations and translate them into operational processes.
• Communication and leadership skills to work with internal teams and external authorities.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage documentation.
• Intermediate or advanced English (written).
• Professional mastery of Spanish.
